Online Yoga Sessions

Movements are simple.  Time is given for skill-building.  You are encouraged to feel rather than think by paying greater attention to your breath & body.   Classes are designed to engage, inspire, & and improve your overall well-being. Joy in Yoga will help you to breathe, move & to live with greater ease.

Online classes:

  • Online classes are brought to you by Zoom.  It is easy to navigate & compatible with Apple & Android devices.
  • Book your class via the online booking system.  Once complete you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link to your chosen class.
  • When it is time to join the class, simply click on the link.   The Zoom software will download automatically when you join your first session.  It only needs to be downloaded once.
  • Before the class, it’s a good idea to decide where you are going to do your yoga practice.   Roll out your yoga mat & see how it feels.  Do you need to move anything out the way?   Let your family or housemates know what you are doing so they know not to disturb you.  It’s worthwhile spending a few moments to prepare the space in advance.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
  • I’ll be online 10 minutes before the scheduled class start time.   Please aim to log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes early so we can all begin the class together.

Joy in Yoga Online classes are aimed at all levels of experience, focus being on finding your place in the class, working within your own limits, not being to forceful or agressive, finding a moderate approach, not too much, not too little.
